About
Who is behind Elevate Consulting
Elevate Consulting is a small software practice based in Germany, founded by Jan Elvers. We build automation, internal tools and integrations inside the systems a business already runs, starting with law firms of 1 to 10 lawyers. Jan spent seven years as a DevOps engineer building and running production software. Every project has a fixed scope and a fixed price before the build, and the client owns the code.

What is Elevate Consulting?
Elevate Consulting is a software practice that moves administrative work into software without handing off responsibility. We build where the work already happens: your practice management system, your inbox, your calendar.
It was founded by Jan Elvers. He works with a small, fixed team and is your point of contact on every project, from the first call to operations.
How does Elevate work?
We start with one workflow, measure where time goes, and propose a first system at a fixed price. Only then do we build.
Software prepares, a person decides: no system we build makes legal or professional judgments, and nothing AI-generated goes out unreviewed. Data stays in your environment, under a data processing agreement and written confidentiality terms.
How can you hold Elevate to account?
Against four commitments that appear in every proposal: a fixed price before the build, you own the source code and documentation, one fixed point of contact, and we keep running what we built.
And against our willingness to say no when automation does not pay off. The process check gives that answer even when it means no follow-on project.
How is Elevate different from a typical provider?
| Topic | Elevate Consulting | Typical approach |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Fixed price before the build | Hourly billing or a per-seat subscription |
| Ownership | Source code, infrastructure and docs are yours | A license; the platform stays with the vendor |
| Where data lives | In your environment | On the vendor's platform |
| Decisions | Software prepares, a person decides | Often marketed as full automation |
| Point of contact | Jan Elvers and a small fixed team | Rotating project managers or a ticket queue |
Questions about Elevate
Do you have client references?
Not public ones yet. Elevate Consulting launched in 2026, and we name clients only with written permission, and then with names and numbers. Until then we show our demos on the first call and walk through what the system would look like for your workflow.
Who does the work?
Jan Elvers leads every project himself and builds with a small, fixed team. There are no rotating account managers and no ticket queue between you and the people building.
Do you only work with law firms?
No. Law firms of 1 to 10 lawyers are our founding vertical because that is where we know the workflows and systems best. We also work with accounting firms, insurance agencies, property managers and staffing agencies.
What happens if Elevate is no longer available?
Your system keeps running, because it runs in your environment. The source code, infrastructure and documentation belong to you, so another developer can take over.
Why a fixed price instead of hourly billing?
Because you should know what a system costs before it starts. If we underestimate the effort, we carry that, not you. It forces us to pin the scope down properly first.
