How we process and protect your data.
This website uses no tracking cookies, no third-party embeds and no advertising services. Everything that happens to your data when you visit, use the contact form or are counted in our analytics is listed here. Last updated: September 25, 2026.
1. Who is responsible

2. Visiting the site and hosting
The site runs on a server operated by Hostinger International Ltd. (Larnaca, Cyprus) in its data center in Germany. To deliver a page the server processes what every web request carries: IP address, time, requested address, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, and the page you came from (referrer).
We do not keep this data. It appears only briefly in the server's error logs, which are overwritten automatically. The legal basis under the GDPR is our legitimate interest in running the site securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Fonts are served from our own server. Nothing from Google, social networks or other third parties is embedded.
3. Contact form
When you use the contact form we process what you enter: name, email address, phone number, your message and, optionally, firm or company, company size, service, industry and your answer to "How did you find us?".
At the moment you submit, we also record your IP address, browser, the page that referred you to us, any campaign parameters in the address (utm, gclid, fbclid, msclkid) and the page on which you entered our site. IP address and browser protect the form against abuse; the other fields tell us which channels bring inquiries. They are not linked to other services and not shared with anyone.
The purpose is handling your inquiry and preparing a possible engagement. Under the GDPR the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) (steps prior to a contract) and, for the abuse and attribution data, Art. 6(1)(f).
Inquiries are stored in a database hosted by Neon, Inc. (Wilmington, Delaware, USA) in its Frankfurt, Germany region (EU). Neon processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We delete an inquiry once it is resolved, and at the latest twelve months after the last contact if no engagement follows. If an engagement follows, statutory retention periods apply.
4. Analytics with Umami
To measure how the site is used we run Umami, open-source software we host ourselves on our server in Germany (stats.elevate-consulting.net). It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and builds no cross-device profiles.
It records pages viewed, referrer, approximate region, browser, device type and a few interactions such as submitting the contact form or using the ROI calculator. IP addresses are not stored. The data does not leave our server and is not shared with third parties.
The legal basis under the GDPR is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly usage statistics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Cookies
The site sets no cookies for visitors. A session cookie is set only in the protected admin area, which we alone use.
6. Where your data is processed
The web server is in Germany and the inquiry database in Frankfurt, Germany. The responsible company is based in the United States; your inquiry is handled by Jan Elvers, who works from Germany. Your data is not passed to any third party beyond the processors named above.
7. Your rights
If you are in the EU or the UK
Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR you can ask us for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to hello@elevate-consulting.net. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
If you are a California resident (CCPA)
In the past twelve months we have collected the categories listed above: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), professional information you choose to give (firm, role, industry), the content of your message, and internet activity (pages viewed, referrer, device type). We collect them directly from you and from your browser, for the purposes described in sections 2 to 4.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We collect no sensitive personal information. You have the right to know what we hold about you, to request deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Send requests to hello@elevate-consulting.net; we will verify them by replying to the email address on file.
8. Changes
We update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows when the content last changed.
